This brief set involved the designing and creating of a brand for an airline. The Airline is based in the future, in the year 2030. I wanted to create an airline which has a chance of happening in the future.
 
I have called my airline Mach Air because the plane I am using is a Concorde which is fast, Mach represents the speed of sound, therefore the name fits well with my choice of airline. This is an upper-class high end airline, I had originally wanted my airline to be a standard although I had thought the cost of running the plane and the speed, this would need to be an upper-class airline.
 
I have used the typeface neon thin for the logo, my personal opinion on this typeface is that it works very well and fits my brief for my airline, this logo is modern, contemporary and clean. I have used an upside down V to represent the plane’s wings and tail, and I have incorporated movement into the letter A.
 
The colours I have chosen to use are versatile depending on what background the logo is placed on. My airline colours are browns and golds as I think the colours give an expensive look and feel towards the airline.
 
An example of Mach Air marketing strategy has been shown, the way in which I will be promoting my airline business, will be a chauffeur, the airline is aimed at upper class people therefore they will want a chauffeur. The Mercedes SLS car will be recognized through the airline’s name on the car. This car will bring them to and from their hotels, and the hotels will be supporting this.
 
I have also included the onboard menu, as shown within the ipad app, available for android and app devices. The menu includes wines, champagnes and the a la carte menu also, once the passengers have ordered their items this will be sent directly to the cabin crew.
